These days, companies are no longer measured by their individual achievements, but must “function” as complete entities and, where possible, supply everything “from a single source”. Customers’ demands are getting increasingly complex, and the fulfilment of such demands is becoming more and more of a challenge. Today, everything must be done promptly, but still in top quality and at low cost.
In recent years, August Vormann has managed to adapt to exactly these general conditions and to reorient its entire infrastructure accordingly. Consequently, we are able to provide our customers with proficient advice on the implementation of their projects, support them in developing their ideas, and design the required parts or tools in-house with ultra-modern CAD/CAM systems. In addition to our own design department, we also have our own tool-making facility, enabling us to make samples or prototypes that are accurate in every detail. Only after these have been approved by our customers do we produce the required tooling, such as cutting dies or – for more complex manufacturing processes – follow-on composite tools for series production. Once the necessary tools have been completed, our customers are again presented with initial samples, this time produced under series production conditions, together with an initial sample inspection report prepared by our quality assurance department. Only then can production to our customers’ specification begin.
Thanks to our modern machinery, including automatic stamping machines ranging from 450 to 4000 kN, and our capacity for carrying out the entire production process in-house, we are always able to choose the least costly and fastest manufacturing method and remain flexible in our response.
If you are a manufacturer yourself and have reached the limits of your capacity, you can place surplus orders with us for job order production. We punch, weld, machine and spark-erode parts on your behalf and can also supply them with the required surface finish – either surface-coated in our in-house powder coating facility, or alternatively with virtually any other surface finish carried out by one of our partners.
Our quality management system is monitored by an independent certification authority (TÜV Nord), ensuring that you receive all products manufactured strictly in accordance with the drawing and the high quality standards you have come to expect from us.
